Deepthi Ravula – CEO, WE Hub – A government of Telangana initiative, previously Joint Director for Electronics Promotions (Electronics, Semiconductor and Business) for the State of Telangana

Currently leading a state of the art facility called We hub which is an initiative of government of Telangana. An inclusive platform for women entrepreneurs and innovators to launch their ideas. Deepthi emphasises upon the unused potential of women which is held back in priority. Women are not restricted from anything, the world is ready , are the women ready for the world? , asks Deepthi. Education is the most powerful form of empowerment , the rest is objective to that individual.
For most of the women in India, family support and assistance from communities is an under utilised advantage for establishing themselves. She is channeling partnerships with ideas, individuals to markets, influencers to network and content to diverse platforms while compassing the market ready personality skills for women. Deepthi deeply understands the economic and environmental logistics suppressed around the potential of girls. At the same time she disagrees to entitlements like ‘ multitaskers’ given to women. Multitasking instead of sharing equal work might reduce overall opportunities as the output is compromised. ‘Gender inclusivity is vital for any organisation, even for the one that works for women’, she says.
In today’s scenario if something is stopping an educated women from showcasing her full potential , then it is only herself. Although she resonates with the social stigma attached with domestic responsibilities yet Deepthi believes in combining her personal and professional life and does not shy away in asking for help from her kids and family when she needs to hustle. Changing the world cannot happen by separating work and life. If you include your kids in your life, they will definitely support your journey.
She has spent her childhood in Hyderabad growing up in a family where she was never made to feel the lack of resources and opportunities because of being a girl child. Many of us overlook the privilege of having the equal opportunities and resources. She says that self discovery is a continuous and complex process to evolution of one’s personality. She is a source of boundless energy who enjoys the adrenaline every time a paradigm shift takes place. Her freedom planted an emotional value towards finding new diligence to purpose. Global education added to her experience of working with brands like Nokia, Qualcomm etc. in the bay area , San Fransisco where she spent 15 years.
Deepthi facilitates her growth effectively by collaborating various parameters of her life to seamlessly encompass each other. When asked about takeaways from her children she said, ” they keep me grounded by ensuring to appreciate and question little things”. Relocating from California was to manifest progress. When she looks back , it is the open spaces and uninterrupted running tracks she misses. The beauty of life is to begin again with new perspectives, she learnt skating with her son and continues to learn whatever brings her curiosity. She defines women as an equal, motherhood as fun and love as doing what you want.
Women are not restricted from anything, the world is ready , are the women ready for the world?
